FOUNDER, INSTITUTE OF OMNISM

Rich February

Rich February is a leader, researcher, and practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of equity, human development, and spiritual understanding.

With over a decade of experience in equity and inclusion, diversity research, and cross-sector leadership, his work has focused on building systems and environments that create access, awareness, and meaningful change. His academic journey—including doctoral studies in Leadership at a Jesuit institution—has further shaped his perspective on ethics, reflection, and the role of human responsibility in a rapidly evolving world.

Beyond his professional and academic work, his personal journey—living across different environments, cultures, and experiences—has informed a deeper understanding of the principles that guide sustainable and intentional living.

The Institute of Omnism was created from this intersection: a recognition that while beliefs may differ, there are shared values that connect us. His work is not about defining truth for others, but about creating space where individuals can explore, strengthen their own beliefs, and learn from one another—without hierarchy.

At its core, this work reflects a simple idea: that through reflection, connection, and lived experience, individuals can better understand themselves, their responsibilities, and the principles that shape a more sustainable and meaningful life.

Our story

The Institute of Omnism was created in response to a growing disconnect—from the land, from self, and from each other.

In a world that moves quickly, many are left without space to reflect, reset, or develop a clear sense of direction. This work began as a simple idea: that growth requires a different environment.

What started as a vision has evolved into a structured experience designed to reconnect individuals with what sustains them—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

This is not about changing what you believe.
It’s about creating space to understand how to live.

Two farmers working in a rice paddy field during the daytime, planting rice seedlings in wet soil.
A woman with glasses and a gray headscarf stands in a museum, looking up at artwork on the wall.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH

We do not approach growth through theory alone.

Our model is built on experience—working with the land, engaging in reflection, and learning within a community setting.

By removing individuals from their usual environment, we create the conditions for clarity, awareness, and change.

The result is not temporary inspiration—but lasting perspective.

A man with a beard and short hair, wearing a red and black plaid shirt, sitting at a wooden desk with his eyes closed, hands clasped in prayer, with a book open in front of him, a mug, glasses, a pencil, and a plant on the desk, in a well-lit room with a window and a lamp.

WHY WE EXIST

We believe that every person has the ability to grow, lead, and live with intention—when given the right environment.

Our work is rooted in the understanding that sustainability is not just about the planet—it is about how we think, act, and relate to one another.

This is a space to develop awareness, build discipline, and create a foundation that extends beyond the program itself.

“This wasn’t just a program—it was a space where I could slow down, reflect, and actually grow.”
