Institute of Omnism… uniting people from all backgrounds in a shared commitment to sustainable living, spiritual growth, and Individual accountability .
The Institute of Omnism is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operating as an interfaith spiritual community. The Institute of Omnism is a nonprofit community focused on interfaith understanding, personal growth, and sustainable living. We create space for individuals to explore different beliefs, strengthen their own, and work together toward a more connected and responsible world.
Our Story
The Institute of Omnism was created in response to a growing need for spaces where people can learn across beliefs without division or hierarchy. In many environments, belief systems are taught in isolation or positioned in opposition to one another. This creates distance rather than understanding. The Institute of Omnism was founded to offer a different approach—one rooted in shared experience, open dialogue, and mutual respect.
Founded by Rich February, the Institute is built on the idea that growth happens through connection. Here, individuals are not instructed what to believe. Instead, they are invited to engage, reflect, and learn from one another. Through mentorship, community, and real-world experiences, participants explore different faiths while strengthening their own values and perspectives.
This is not about replacing belief. It is about creating space to understand it—together.
Our Mission
To create a safe, inclusive environment where individuals from all cultural and religious backgrounds can learn from one another, explore different belief systems, and strengthen their own values—through shared experience, mentorship, and community.
Our Vision
A world where people of all beliefs can coexist, learn from one another, and work together with mutual respect—building stronger communities and a more connected and sustainable society.
We believe that no single perspective holds all understanding. Every tradition carries insight, and every individual brings lived experience that can be learned from.
We believe in creating spaces where people can engage across beliefs—openly, respectfully, and without hierarchy—while strengthening their own values and sense of identity. We believe that growth comes through reflection, shared experience, and connection with others, the environment, and oneself.
And we believe that through understanding and collaboration, people can build a more connected, responsible, and sustainable world.
Impact Goal:
To cultivate a global community grounded in mutual respect, shared learning, and sustainable living—where individuals from all backgrounds work together to strengthen their communities and contribute to a more unified and balanced world.
What we believe?
THE WORLD NEEDS A DIFFERENT KIND OF SPACE
We are living in a time of rapid change—socially, environmentally, and technologically. While the world becomes more connected, it is also becoming more divided, distracted, and uncertain. Advancements in artificial intelligence are accelerating how we think, work, and interact. But as systems become more powerful, there is a growing risk of disconnection—from each other, from the natural world, and from the deeper values that guide human life. At the same time, global belief systems continue to grow and evolve. Different traditions are expanding, intersecting, and shaping the future in new ways. This creates both tension and opportunity.
The Institute of Omnism exists within this moment.
We create space for individuals to step outside of constant noise and re-engage with what is human—reflection, connection, and shared understanding. By bringing together people from different backgrounds, we foster an environment where individuals can learn from one another, strengthen their own beliefs, and develop a grounded sense of responsibility.
This is not a response to one problem, but to a pattern—disconnection.
Our work is to restore balance:
between technology and humanity,
between belief and understanding,
between progress and responsibility.
Through community, mentorship, and real-world experience, we offer a path forward—one that is rooted, aware, and built to last.

What We Do
We create environments where individuals from different backgrounds come together to learn from one another—through shared experience, reflection, and real-world engagement.
Our work is not built on instruction alone, but on participation. Through immersive programs, community-based learning, and mentorship, individuals explore different belief systems, strengthen their own values, and develop a deeper sense of responsibility to themselves, others, and the world around them.
Each experience is designed to reconnect people—to community, to the environment, and to a more intentional way of living.
-
Participants engage in open dialogue and shared exploration of different belief systems. This is not about agreement, but understanding—learning directly from others while strengthening one’s own perspective.
-
Growth happens in relationship. Through guided mentorship and group experiences, individuals learn from one another, building trust, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose.
-
Individuals are given space to reflect, question, and grow—deepening their understanding of themselves, their beliefs, and how they choose to live.
-
Through hands-on experiences, participants reconnect with the land and learn practical approaches to sustainability—understanding the relationship between environment, responsibility, and daily life.
We create environments where learning happens through experience, not instruction alone.
Rather than positioning one perspective above another, we bring individuals together to engage, reflect, and learn from one another. Through mentorship, shared dialogue, and real-world immersion, participants explore different beliefs while strengthening their own understanding.
Our approach combines community, hands-on practice, and intentional space—allowing individuals to reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
This is not a process of being taught what to think, but an opportunity to develop awareness, responsibility, and a more grounded way of living.
How we do it
How We Worship
We do not follow a single way of worship.
Instead, we create space for individuals to engage in practices that are meaningful to them—while learning from the traditions and perspectives of others.
Through reflection, dialogue, time in nature, and shared experience, individuals connect in ways that are personal, grounded, and intentional.
Some may pray.
Some may sit in silence.
Some may reflect through conversation or movement.
There is no single approach—only a shared commitment to awareness, respect, and presence.
This is not about conformity.
It is about connection.
